Baby’s First Christmas…
It was a really beautiful morning in the company of this sweet family in their home. We had talked and planned this session for baby’s first Christmas, and had such a lovely time creating a wonderful selection of photographs. These not only document a very special time in their lives, but they wanted the shoot to create Christmas cards with the photos to send to family and friends internationally. I often talk of the power of photography, especially printed photographs (in this day & age), so it made it more special knowing that these would help them stay connected to all their loved ones. We talked about including special items and momentos – and Mrs C had not only decorated her Christmas tree early, but also had a beautiful collection of family treasures, outfits & hand-made gifts – Oh, and I totally fell in love with her hand-knitted elves. We took the session slow, and used the opportunity with baby’s naps to include couple shots too. I was thrilled with the variety and I know that the family loved these too.
