School holidays… Always a busy time and usually during the ‘Spring Break’ we make the most of the weather outside before the fierce heat of the Gulf Summer starts rolling in. But we happened to have the Mother-of-all-Sandstorms one day last week. Well, what does a Photographer Mummy ‘Mamarazzo’ do on days like these? Style a home photo session of course!
Grabbing my trusty reflector to bounce what light we had coming in through the windows, I quickly dressed a simple ‘set’ (read white duvet and sheet backdrop) and coaxed my two favourite models to assist. Minutes in, they’d totally warmed up to the task and had so much fun giggling together and playing up to the camera. Going through the shots on my iMac later, I was so happy… Not only did we have a lot of fun and giggles, we also filled some time stuck at home due to horrible weather outside – and we now have these beautiful photographic memories of this amazing time in their childhood. I love how the photos show their sibling bond – truly they are the best of pals (most of the time!) and I revel in their relationship.
